Honeypot locking authorisation
You want access to the Honeypot? Please first read the Room Allocation document. You can apply for access if you are at least in the second semester of Computer Science (or Computer Engineering) at the Leibniz University Hanover and frequently use the Honeypot. Interested? Application forms are available in the bookshelf inside the Honeypot. Simply email your application to honeypot@finf.uni-hannover.de.
Important: You need a transponder before you can apply. This will no longer be issued by the caretaker but directly by the Dean’s Office. Applications without transponder IDs cannot be processed by us.
You can find out how to get a transponder Here.
A valid Immatriculation certificate is also required to receive access.
Applications are processed approximately twice a semester, so it may take some time.
You would like to work together in the Honeypot, but neither of you has access? With a little luck, someone is already in the room and will let you in. It’s best to call first.
Warning: After approximately 6 PM, the building’s entrance doors are locked. You can then only enter the building via the northern entrance “Appelstraße 11 A” using your transponder. Please also note that the Honeypot door can only be opened with your transponder from the outside. So, please make sure you don’t forget your transponder if you briefly leave the room (for example, to go to the toilet).
