History

The InfoLOUNGE was officially inaugurated in January 2012. Initially, it was only used by the groups working on the software project and some other students. Then, the room was also made available to other students.

Finn Brinkmann was responsible for the interior design and organized a sandwich maker, dishes, cutlery, etc. The authorization rights were only clarified later, since April 2012. Since then, Computer Science students have had access to a very modern workspace. For a long time, the room was well-maintained; there were no major defects, and people treated the furnishings carefully and conscientiously.

Since the beginning of 2016, a “new” multifunction printer has been available in the InfoLOUNGE, which is widely used by students.

In October 2016, the OE-Cafe took place here, which offered a contact opportunity for students and particularly for first-year students* (Erstsemester).

In November 2016, the transponder lock was replaced with a numeric lock.

At the end of 2017, the LernLOUNGE (Learning Lounge) was established LernLOUNGE.
