Technical Services

The Students’ Union operates several servers providing a variety of services, some of which are also available to other Computer Science students. You can centrally register for most of these services at https://login.finf.uni-hannover.de.

FinfPad

For collaborative work on documents simultaneously, a Pad is often a good option. Our HedgeDoc is located here: pad.finf.uni-hannover.de

FinfServ

FinfServ is a server where you can also apply for an SSH account. The current FinfServ server is called “krul”. Every Computer Science student can apply for an account:

  3. Upload an Immatriculation Certificate

FinfCloud

Our FinfCloud is a Dropbox-like service with file, calendar, and contact management. Access is via web, desktop client, or app. Currently, everyone has 4 GB of storage available. Every Computer Science student can apply for an account:

Matrix

Matrix-Space of the Students’ Union. Announcements are made here, students find their OE tutors here, there is exchange on individual subjects and you can exchange ideas with other students.

GitLab

Git Repository Server like Github with private repositories. Every Computer Science student can apply for an account:
