Subject Group Council for Computer Science
What's the Subject Group Council for Computer Science?
The Subject Group Council (SGC) for Computer Science (SGC4CS) is a group of computer science and computer engineering students.
What does the SGC do?
The members represent all students of the subject group for computer science in all university committees. These deal with general university politics and specific cases of study- or examination regulations.
Aside from the committee work, the members of the SGC are contact persons for all students regarding study-related problems or ideas. With provision of this website, the chat and technical services the mutual aid between students is encouraged.
Aside from these activities, the SGC helps with events like the "Tag der Fakultät". Additionally, the organisation and planning of the anual orientation unit is carried out by the SGC.
To discover problems in teaching, we review each semesters teaching evaluations. Nonetheless we depend on your feedback to make an influence in the courses. Please reach out to us if you see problems!
Students need spaces to study with fellow students. As a SGC, we offer the self managed student workspace called Honeypot.
This is just one of the things that the SGC does - mostly behind the scenes - within the university. To learn more about our activities, please refer to the various articles on this website.
